Balloon Rays is a fun
family ride situated in front of the Snake in the Grass
rollercoaster. Sporting a new theme for 2011, the ride was manufactured by Zamperla and
originally arrived at Pleasurewood Hills in 2005. Balloon Rays
consists of 8 colourful hot air balloon shaped cars.
Each individual car is
capable of holding up to two people. The ride tilts and spins
round on its axis, with each individual 'balloon' also able to
spin independently. The ride is suitable for most visitors,
however a minimum height of 0.90m is required to ride.
Amy's Review
I went on this
after going on Snake in the Grass but had calmed down. Then I
started spinning and felt horrible. Thought I was gonna throw
up, but it good how you can spin yourself.
Fraser's Review
Although it's not a
big ride, it's quite nice for little children and a good way
to calm down after a long day at Pleasurewood Hills.
Julian's Review
It's fun, but makes
me sick, plus it sucks as I have to be on my own :(
Rory's Review
I like the balloon
rays because its a good ride for a good venue.

Good fun. I had a
great laugh with the kids on this! Made me fill a little bit
sick by the end though!
