Enigma
made its debut at Pleasurewood
Hills in 1995, the ride was originally called "The Cannonball Express" and
featured a mine train theme. In 2005, the attraction evolved into
"Enigma" and was given a bright new paint job. To complete the new theme,
the mine train boulders, carts and signage were removed from the
attraction and question marks were added to the train. The ride was
previously located at Rotunda Amusement Park in Folkestone. Queue times
for this attraction are often incredibly long due to the fact that the
ride now only operates with one train running. This allows just 8 people
to ride at a time. However, if you do eventually make it onto the ride,
don't forget to take heed of the warnings... brace yourself at the end.
Ouch!

"It was far better
when it had the runaway mine train feel to it. It could also benefit
from going round twice... You queue for 35 mins at times only to be
on the ride for 1 min 15 secs!"

"A good coaster, my son
thoroughly enjoys this ride!...the only downside is the queue time
can be very long in peak season. Whatever happened to the second
train?"

Wes' Review
"Enigma is a good ride overall and the only Jumbo V but
only having one train is not efficient enough even for a park of
PWH's size. They had 3 trains originally and then 2 after the third
was used to replace parts but what happened to the other train?"

Josh's Review
"Enigma is not a bad coaster but the queue times were ridiculous
even though it was fairly short. The theming is also pretty
dire."
