Park Entrance 1995

This was the view that greeted visitors as they made their way from the car park to the entrance in 1995.

Crinkley Bottom TV

"CBTV" launched in 1995 taking over the Castle Theatre. Mr Blobby, the gunge tank and Steve Ace on stage.

The Space Rotor

Joining the park in the same year as The Pirate Ship (1985), the Space Rotor was one of the first big thrill rides to join the park.

Carousel

The Carousel was added to the line up of attractions at Pleasurewood Hills in 1985.

Rattlesnake

Having recently been rethemed from "The Ladybird" this shot shows the early paint job used on the Rattlesnake rollercoaster.

In 1988 the "Castle Theatre" as it is known today was home to a Haunted Magic Show.

Visitors still enjoy a trip through to woods on the Miniature Railway today.

Troika

Spinning, twisting and raising up to an angle of 40 degrees... Troika provided exciting family fun from 1985.

Occupying the position currently held by Thunderstruck, visiters were hoisted to the top and then dropped to the ground.

Cine 180 visitors stood in the middle of the room as a short film played out all around them.

Death Slide

Dangling their legs over the top of the near vertical drop, brave visitors would launch themselves down the slide one at a time.

Putting the lake to good use in the 80's and early 90's pedal boats were provided for visitors to use.

A huge, attractively decorated Waveswinger ride which arrived at Pleasurewood Hills in 1988.
