Pleasurewood
Hills have spent the past week releasing details of new rides and
attractions coming to the park for the 2012 season. Unofficial
Pleasurewood can now give you all the details...
The Jolly Roger - A 140 foot tall drop tower ride to be
located on the site previously occupied by Thunderstruck.
Sean Alexander - A brand new magic and illusion show for the Castle
Theatre from Britain's Got Talent favourite, Sean Alexander.
The Lighthouse - A shoot-up tower ride suitable for all the family. This
ride will be located within a kids zone at the park. Tide
Traveller - A new look and theme for
Thunderstruck, the spinning pod ride. Moving from its old spot to a
location near Wipeout.
Pleasurewood Pony Rail
- A family monorail attraction where riders climb onto their own horse and
race around the track.
Popular Norfolk based entertainer, comedian and magician Steve Ace
sadly passed away yesterday. Steve was the star and writer of a
number of popular shows at
Pleasurewood Hills' Castle Theatre during
the 1990's. Staff at the Gorleston Pavilion Theatre, a venue which
Steve has been a supporter of for many years, posted the following
message on their website:
"
Steve has been a part of our
family for the past 14 years and has brought endless laughter and
joy to thousands of holiday makers and locals alike with his unique
charm, personality and wit. Our thoughts go out to Steve's family
and to all those people who, just like us, have their own fond
memories of Steve."

Unofficial
Pleasurewood : Loving the Labyrinth!
08/10/2011
Members of the Unofficial Pleasurewood Message Board were invited to
a special preview event of the Laser Labyrinth, the newest
attraction at
Pleasurewood Hills. Split into two teams, we were
given the opportunity to play two 10 minute games. After a safety
briefing, we were each given a gun and ushered through to a section
of the arena. Then it was lights out, music up and game on! The
amount of work put into the themeing of the attraction was very
impressive and the use of music, fog and lighting effects really
enhanced the mood. I for one can't wait to give it another try!
Check out more details and reviews on the
Message Board.

Pleasurewood
Hills has struck gold! 16/10/2011
Thunderstruck, the spinning pod ride at
Pleasurewood Hills, has been
completely dismantled and work has begun on improving the tired look of
the ride. Since its addition to the park in 2005, the ride sported a blue
and silver colour scheme which had seen better days. Now, the first
completed pod has been posted on the
Pleasurewood Hills
twitter page and
is almost unrecognisable! A stylish gold and silver paint job has done
wonders for the drab ride cars and the paint job looks to be of a
similarly high standard as other recently renovated rides at the park
including Timber Falls and Balloon Rays.
