Timber Falls
arrived at Pleasurewood Hills
in 1992 as "Wild Water Falls". Its original colour scheme was a rather
uninspiring grey and white. It was rethemed to "Mellow Yellow" more
recently, adding a much needed splash of colour to the attraction. In
2009, the ride was dismantled, repainted and rebuilt as "Timber Falls".
The ride is a log flume with a
small first drop followed by a much taller, faster finale. Plus, if the
timing is right, you could be in for quite a wet surprise as you turn the
corner at the bottom of the final drop. If a log is on its way down, take
cover! Don't forget to smile as you head down the first drop, as you'll be
photographed for all to see!

"The new themeing is absoutley fantastic! Hopefully a photo will pop
up on here soon! The ride will get you wet and the two drops are
actually rather thrilling! The new themeing is brilliant however-
look out for the chainsaw sound effects!"

"Definatly like the name
change, sounds more thrilling, if you get what I mean, very good
ride at pleasurewood and certainly wouldn't like to see it replaced
by another bog standard log flume such as the ones found at many
theme parks and amusment parks around the UK, this on actually gets
you wet and the last drop is great!"

"Although there are
bigger versions at places like Alton Towers, this ride still gives a
punch, and a decent water ride the park needs!"

Josh's Review
"Best bring a change of
clothes if you plan on riding this one. You can get incredibly
wet if the timing's right! It's a decent log flume but small
in comparison to others around the country."
