Balloon Rays offers children and their parents a fun experience with the added perk of being able to spin the car yourself. The attraction arrived at Pleasurewood Hills in 2004 and featured coloured, striped balloon cars initially. However, in 2011 the entire ride was repainted giving each balloon a specific style and theme.
Riders choose from one of 8 balloons, the ride begins by spinning and tilting on it’s axis. Once in motion, riders can add a bit more excitement to the experience by spinning their own balloon car.
Ballon Rays was manufactured by Zamperla and the model name is “Samba Balloon”.
