The Carousel was a new addition to Pleasurewood Hills in 2001 and was originally sited near the front gates of the park. Unlike most Carousels, this model gives guests the option of riding on a lower or upper deck.
Featuring a traditional colour scheme and playing music as it goes, the Carousel transports guests back in time to a bygone era. Guests can choose to ride on horses or in spinning carriages.
In 2011, the entire attraction was painstakingly refurbished by a team of local art students. More recently, the ride was relocated from its position near the front entrance of the park to the Main Street Square.
