pleasurewood hills theme park lowestoft rides

Shiver m' Timbers, the pirate ship with room for 45 people on board, weighs in at 2 tonnes. Swinging back and forth, slowly getting higher and higher, the ride is sure to make your stomach churn!

The ride was manufactured by HUSS and is the oldest thrill ride remaining in the park. The ship has been thrilling visitors since 1985 and has remained in the same position since it first arrived.

"A good ride, the refurb and new lick of paint have done it good! Glad it seems to go a lot higher now!"

Mrs Wilkins' Review

"OH MY GOD!!! I remember being a little girl literally like 5 or 6 and I said to my big brother, that I wanted to go on the boat ride, and he sent me to this one and I went on it!!!

What I actually meant was that I wanted to go on the little kiddie boat ride, I remember being on this ride and being so scared, big brothers never trust them lol!!!!"

"Went on this 22 years ago and it went a lot higher then. Not very good now. Maybe they can readjust the height. Disappointing."
