Snake in the Grass
has been part of Pleasurewood Hills since 1986. Beginning its life as
the far more tame sounding "Ladybird" it evolved into "The Rattlesnake" in
the early 1990's.
More recently the ride received
a revamp, with a new colour scheme and a new name "Snake in the Grass".
The ride begins with a lift hill housed in a dark tunnel followed by a
couple of laps around the outside track.

I'm
pretty sure it was something else before it became the
rattlesnake. But it's a pity they took the lights out of the 2nd
tunnel.

"I
remember this in it's first year at the park. It's a great ride for
kids, and the queuing times are small. It's not really a fast trill
ride though, and difficult to use if you are over 6ft."

"I went on this ride
when i was 9 or 10 years old and it was really good. You can also
get 3 or 2 goes on it which is good. My favorite part is when it
rides up the tunnel in the dark and then it comes down a steep
hill."
