Wow! i went on
wipeout today on a school trip. it took the WHOLE journey from
my area to lowestoft to convince me into going on this AWESOME
rollercoaster! with all seven of us shaking with both fear and
excitement in the queues and singing along to the music, we
couldn't wait to get on. when on the ride for the first time
with my friend aidan, i couldn't help but to feel like getting
right back off the ride, but when the carriages started
smoothly riding up the track, i felt a bit more at ease. the
rollercoaster hits the top, and suddenly releases you,
hurtiling right down a track with awsome loop-de-loops and
twists before taking you nearly verticly up again, BACKWARDS!
so again, we did the whole track going backwards. it felt so
good to be zooming along this awesome ride. i afterwards went
on log flume. honestly if you think that's good, you haven't
lived. wipeout is totally AWESOME and you need to go on it
next time you visit. to be honest most of the rides or
attractions at pleasurewood hills are of poor standards and
condition and could do with a lick of paint, but this...
honestly there is NO faults to this ride in my opinion, i
went on the logflume, got SOAKED and went STRAIGHT back on to
the wipeout! its amazing and i HIGHLY recoment this !! thanks
for reading! :):) |

Jono's Review
I think this ride
is a good ride, but let me tell you something. You're wrong
about the ride being the best in the east of England, because
if you travel up to Lincolnshire, you'll find exactly the same
ride at Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes. It is called the
Boomerang. The Boomerang is smoother than the Wipeout, in my
opinion. But this Wipeout makes up for it, because it is a
Vekoma Boomerang!
I love Boomerangs,
even though ther not my favourite coaster, but they are really
thrilling. I think Boomerang's are underrated. In one way
the Wipeout is better than the Boomerang is the colour
scheme. I think the different shades of blue worked well,
where the green and white of the Boomerang is a little
boring.
The Wipeout has a
better train as well, with more comfortable seats and again, a
good colour! Both rides though have a minimum height of 1.3m
and I would easily recommend both of them! |

Typical Pleasurewood Hills,
running a ride at half capacity. They might learn one day to
stop bodging everything. Other than that i's a great ride and
a move in the right direction. |

Best ride in Pleasurewood Hills
by a mile! Even in general if it is a bit of let down. In my
opinion the park should ake more moves in this same direction! |

This ticks all the
boxes for me, even though it is relatively short compared to
some rides at Thorpe Park or Alton Towers, the ride is very
smooth and it gets your adrenalin pumping. |

I first went on
Wipeout (many years ago!!) when it was at the American
Adventure and called the Missile. Glad to see it's found it's
way to one of my favorite parks. We must have picked a good
day cos there was no queue and went straight to the front.
Nice. |

Absolutely
fantastic! This is the best ride in the whole park and despite
the endless queuing for ages, the experience is brilliant and
that's why I give it a five out of five! |

Cheyenne's Review
Love it, fantastic.
The people who run the ride are very kind and always ensure
you the ride is not as scary as it looks, and always make sure
you think the things that hold you in are tight enough. I have
been on this 31 times. |

Vekoma are known
for being very rough however I personally found Wipeout to be
smooth in comparison. The overall theme is pretty cool as
well, it works well with the coaster. I also like the fact
that the ride has music surrounding it unlike most of their
other attractions. |

It is brilliant, if
you haven't gone on it, you haven't lived yet! I went on with
my friend and we had a brill time its scary when you get draw
up at the beginning but when you get off you would be shaking
with excitement I give it a 5 out of 5! |

The only ride at
PWH worth a vote! C'mon Compagnie des Alpes when are you going
to remember you own this park and invest in some decent thrill
rides? |

Craig's Review
Best ride their the
queues are short but dosn't take long to get on if they are
long but not as good as other inverting rides out their at
Alton Towers and Thorpe Park. but the right idea in putting an
inverted coster into pleasurewood hills :) |

Scottish Dave's Review
The Wipeout is a
classic coaster! While it may not compare to modern designs,
this is something you've got to experience. This first caught
my attention during the Glasgow Garden Festival (1988?) where
I was an envious youngster desperate for a go. I managed to go
on it many times several years later while it was at the
American Adventure, and have been delighted to find out this
evening that it is still in use. 5 fully intend to get to PH
to have another go. Get on it! |

Oscar's Review
A perfect roller
coaster, fun to go on the carts are normally at a great
capacity and they get about 480 people on and off there in an
hour 4 times the amount on enigma. |

Julian's Review
Wipeout is the best
ride since Mega Drop, very thrilling and not too rough
compared to other Boomerangs! |
|
Josh's Review
It's great to
finally have an inverting rollercoaster at Pleasurewood
Hills. Fantastic thrill and a well deserved 5/5. |

Why do they run
this at half capacity and very slow loading? Could be improved
greatly so i rate this low as queuing ruins the ride
experience.
